Yeah music always been apart of me. I started playing percussion since I was 2 and realized I wanted to be a rapper when I was 7 playing around watching bet, then actually took it seriously when I was 12.
What inspired you to become a rapper?
Honestly just knowing I had the talent and it really just was natural to me. I’ve always listened to music my whole life so I just knew how to go with the flow I guess lol.
Where did your love for music come from?
I would say my ma, she always kept me involved with music and played the shit outta every song like my mama was the lime wire lady, Iykyk lol.
What is your favorite childhood memory that involved music?
Performing at my 7th grade talent show, did my first rap show and realized I was a star foreal.
How would you describe your style of music and what would you say makes you different from other up and coming rappers?
I’m more of a trap-soul artist if you wanna be technical. I just make real good vibe music; music that people can relate to and actually feel. I make a lot of songs for the females too I’m just very versatile.
Think back to the first song you ever made and put out for people to hear and tell us about that time and what that was like for you.
The first song I ever made for people to hear was I went to the studio with my brothers and did a freestyle to that Ransom lil Wayne and Drake beat. Then ever since I just set up my own studio in my room with a Laptop and a guitar hero mic.
Who are some of your favorite artists and how have they influenced your work?
Rylo Rodriguez is my favorite artist of all time. Young Thug is a legend to me and Johnny Cinco influences a lot to my music coming up foreal.
What was the most challenging thing you’ve faced so far when it comes to your music and how did you overcome that?
I had surgery about 4 years ago where I had to relearn how to really use my voice again and it took me some time to process it but I just went to the studio one day and just recorded a song and kept doing it. It just kept getting better and better every time.
What is your favorite song that you’ve written/recorded up to this date? Why is this one your favorite?
My favorite song right now is “ Mama’s Kim House “. If you really was at my mama House you would truly understand. My T was like the neighborhood mama type shit so that song really speaks to me foreal.
Is music a passion for you or is it just a hobby right now? If it is just a hobby, what would you say is your ultimate passion that drives you to be creative?
