There was a lot of commotion going on in the ambulance. Paramedics were fighting hard to save this precious life in front of them. Blood was everywhere and her pulse was extremely weak. From what the paramedics could tell, she may have had internal bleeding that was fatal.
They were only able to control the bleeding that they could see from the outside and hope that they made it to Memorial in time.
The ambulance quickly zoomed into the ER ambulance driveway. The truck came to a screeching halt as the driver jumped out and opened the back so that the paramedics that were working on her could get her into the ER as fast as possible.
HURRY! Let's go, she's going to make it, she's going to make it, they screamed.
The emergency center doors opened and two nurses and the ER doctor that was on call rushed to take over and asked all the necessary, but heart wrenching questions.
We have a female victim, age twenty-eight. She was hit by a black Mustang that was speeding through a neighborhood around 9:30 this morning, the paramedic said.
He was sweating profusely from the adrenaline of everything going on and getting the bleeding to stop.
Her husband should be coming soon, please, please do what you can.
The ER doctor and his nurses nodded quickly and disappeared into the hustle and bustle of the emergency room. They used the emergency elevators to get to the first operation room that was open.

She was unconscious, but her eyes would open slightly and roll into the back of her head every few seconds. Once the doctors had her in the OR with anesthesia, she completely went blank... and then... she saw the light.

What's happening?! Where am I? She screamed as she continued to fall for what seemed like miles and miles into a white abyss. She finally landed on a big, fluffy, white cloud. She looked down at her body and noticed she had on the same clothes she had on this morning, but wasn't understanding where she was. She had no recollection of the moments leading up to the accident and thereafter.
Everything was so beautiful and bright. She looked around and seen beautiful low laying clouds where souls were laughing and playing. All of these souls looked like children.  There was no flesh, just souls in the shape of a small child, but you knew that it was not an actual child. In fact, she was the only one who was an actual person in the flesh. Even though she knew nothing of where she was, she immediately felt insecure about being the only human there. Sweet symphonies were playing, but no sight of an instrument. There were pretty sunflowers and tulips that were growing from the ground. There was no grass, just flowers, and big giant oak trees where souls were gathered and playing and laughing with each other in the most innocent way.

Did I die? Goodness someone please tell me what's happening she cried out.

All of a sudden, a big figure appeared beside her. A man, who was so beautiful that he was golden. He wore a long white robe with a hood and looked like an angel sent from heaven.
Shhh, he said. Calm down my child. It's okay.
His voice was as deep as the lowest bass guitar that was ever created.
She looked up at him and was greeted with warm, green fiery brown eyes and pearly white teeth.
The beauty of this man made her freak out even more, because she immediately thought she had died and gone to heaven, and God was here to call her home.
Oh no, oh no, she screamed. Did I die? Oh my goodness is this heaven? Tears began to fall from her eyes as she began to wonder if this was the beginning of the rest eternity for her.
The man chuckled, no my darling, you did not die. In fact, you are very much alive. You had a terrible accident on earth and had to be rushed to the hospital. At this very moment, you are being operated on in the operation room at Memorial Hospital. I saw the whole thing. In fact, I allowed it to happen.
The look of confusion and almost disgust came across her face as she was unsure of what to feel in this very moment.
So, you are God. She said with a somber tone.
Shh, my child, let's not worry about that now. You are here for a reason. We don't have much time. Come...
He grabbed her hand and they began to float through the field of sunflowers and tulips at a very steady pace. The sun was out, but there was no heat or humidity. It was a beautiful enchanted place. The more they floated, the older the souls seemed appear. As if, these souls spent their life right here in the beautiful place.
Can I ask you a question? Where.....where are we? Is this heaven?
The man chuckled, no my child, this is not. This place? A travesty compared to heaven.
Then, where are we?
You will soon see.
Ah, right here, he said.
She turned to her side and seen a beautiful deep blue ocean with white sand all around. There were souls of all ages just playing and laughing. Hugging and smiling. They all seemed to be, in tune with one another and almost like... they were in love.
The beauty of love, he said. Sit right here with me, my darling. I want you to see.
But, I am seeing... I see everything. It's so marvelously beautiful.
No, my child. sit here with me. See. You think what you're seeing now is what is meant for you. But, open your eyes child, open you heart, open your mind... and look. This is an opportunity only very few have ever been able to have.
She closed her eyes... opened her mind... opened her heart... and opened her eyes. All of the souls were gone, except two. Two small children playing and making sand castles in the distance. Everything was still. The ocean stood still. The wind silenced. Everything was quiet but these two souls. She watched them closely and it seemed as if she was looking at a film. As if... they were there before, but not there now.
The two small children, with their innocence at their toes, stood up in the sand, with their hands interlocked, and began to walk. As they walked, they aged quickly. They continued to age with every step they took together and as they aged, Lena fell to her knees with every question she ever had about her love, answered within seconds. She quickly seen that the two souls, were them. As they aged and aged, the film started to disappear until it was no longer there.
She turned back to the man and he was chuckling to himself. As if he got a kick out of being able to see the effect that this had on her.
You see, my child. This is a magical place where one finds their soul partner before they have a human experience. This place is nothing more than a prelude to love and life.
I see you all the time. Listening to nature. Listening to me send you all the signs that your love before you, is the one that was destined for you.
What you've just witnessed, is your soul existence here, before it ever reached earth. You lived here... with him. As children. As friends. As Partners, for decades, before you ever became flesh.
This is why when you are with him, you feel safer than you ever have.
I created you, for him... and him... for you. So many humans know who their soul partner is, but they are afraid to accept it. They are afraid to marry. They are afraid of the love that I've given them. It hurts me and makes me weep. It is as if they have no faith in what was engineered by me. But, my child, you've always known. But, I needed for him to see as well. I had to let things happen, so that he could watch the love of his life almost disappear, for him to restore faith in me. Everything happens for a reason my child. But, trust me, Lena, you are covered. Listen to your heart and your voices inside you. That is me, reminding you.

She began to cry with tears of joy and also sorrow. She felt so overwhelmed with emotions at what she had just seen. What she had just heard.
It is okay, my child. Go. Get back to the life I have allowed you to live. Take nothing for granted. Get back to the love that I've hand engineered for you. He's waiting.. and he has something for you. Just go. It's okay.
He nodded in the direction that would lead her to the place she needed to be. She had no words. She had nothing to say. She was completely speechless. She ran up to hug the man, but he disappeared right before her eyes. The ocean began to hum again, the wind began to sing, and the souls appeared once again, laughing, and playing together with no care in the world.
She began running in the direction that he sent her. She ran as fast as she could and the petals on the sunflowers and tulips lifted off of the ground with every step she took and swirled in the wind. The trees were talking in the sound of the wind. Everything was so alive and beautiful. She felt an electricity pulling and tugging at her in the direction that she was running.....
and there...
he...
was.....
Beautiful black king standing in the distance shouting her name.
Lena!!
She ran as fast as she could to the love of her life and she reached out to grab him, and fell..... back into the white abyss....

Lena? She heard as she quietly opened her eyes. Are you back??? Oh my GOD she's awake, he screamed.
I told you! I told you she was going to come back to me he screamed with tears running down his face.
The doctors and nurses, wide eyed in shock, couldn't believe that she was defying science. She was supposed to be in a coma and they were not anticipating that she would awake.
But, God, had other plans.
Lena smiled, even though her entire body was in pain.
Hi, my king. I've missed you, she said with a crackle in her voice.
Baby, I knew it. I knew you'd come back to me. I had a vision. We were in a field of tulips and sunflowers and it was a beautiful place. I saw you running to me and I just knew then that you were going to find your way back to me. I knew it.
When she heard his story she began to cry. Tears ran down her face and hit the blue hospital gown that she was dressed in.
It was at this moment, she knew her dream with God, was no dream at all. It was the complete opposite.
She reached her bruised hand out to grab him and noticed a beautiful diamond ring sitting on her ring finger. She looked up at him with a look only a soul mate could give.

I was going to ask you before the accident. Months before... but I had been hesitating. I've been afraid.
But God spoke to me and there's no way on this earth I'd ever question this again.

I love you, Lena. Please, please baby, do me the honor, of being my wife, now and forever.

There was not a dry eye on the 5th floor of Memorial Hospital that Saturday. The magical love of these two was felt by every soul in there.
The love that God engineered will never be at fault.

Yes, yes baby, I will do the honor, of being your wife.

now.. and forever.
